Abstract:
The programmable logic controller took place in industrial circuits because it contains a virtual relays, timers, and counters as software. All PLC types are compatible with HMI (human machine interface).
In this study the controlled petrol pumping system was designed. The programming method of control of pumping flow rate was achieved by means of integrated programmable logic controller (PLC).The main function of PLC to determine the required flow rate levels
PLC is essential part in any industrial systems and also in some commercial systems. The PLC has high accuracy, fast response and high performance. It is also suitable for industrial applications such as sensors signal and analogue input (thermal applications).
PLC has many advantages: for example, it can upgrade to SCADA system (connecting with PC) to get good monitoring and find out any fault quickly, so it reduce the maintenance time. It is also suitable for controlling machine like petrol pump.
