PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AND MONITORING USING MOBILE NETWORK

Abstract

The objective of this research is to control and monitor the performance of an electrical generator using a programmable logic controller (PLC) through mobile phone. The two important factors to be controlled are temperature and the amount of gasoline in the tank. The control and monitoring of the performance of the generator is done using two methods, either through short message service (SMS) message or through the internet.
