Abstract:
The aim of this study is to investigate and explore the importance of using
realia in teaching vocabulary and to which extent they are used.
The population of the study is(46)teachers of basic school teachers in
Umbaddah locality .The researcher adopted the descriptive method . A
questionnaire was used as a tool for gathering data .
This research aims to raise teachers' awareness of the effects and significance
of using realia in teaching vocabulary
Using realia has an important role on pupils vocabulary achievement
The majority of teachers have positive opinions toward using realia and some
of them have negative ones.
The study illustrated through analysis of questionnaire some recommendations.
The most important one basic school teachers should be equipped with needed
tools and modern techniques for teaching vocabulary
