Abstract:
The aim of this research is to show the effectiveness of using a learning package for teaching
English language adjectives for second learners in high secondary schools.
The learning package is used to examine to what extend did the objectives of the
research is well met.
The learning package is examined on thirty students, from one of the rural areas,
in el Jazira province. The target population is from el hilalya high secondary
school for girls, students asked to watch and practice the skills inside the
learning package then asked to go across the questionnaire.
Bloom taxonomy and Gagne are the most important theories discussed through
the literature review.
Various evaluation instruments are used to investigate the learning package
such as the questionnaire, formative evaluation, pre- posttests, and interview.
The most important findings achieved at the end of the investigation, are:
1) Instructive learning approach suited teaching English “Adjectives” as
second language.
2) The learning package took the high level of interaction’s types during its
implementation.
3) Program is effective to teach the contents encapsulated in the learning
package but needs some additional resources such as an audio and organized
feedback.
4) The program helps to change and influence learners’ perception about the
learning package.
