Abstract

The study aims to investigate the concept, characteristics and threats to human security in Sudan and its relation with the development of Sudanese community in the period of1990to2010.This is an important period in Sudanese history because there were political stability, internal and external conflicts ,economic development and the appearance of globalization. The study carried on through checking the following hypotheses :‐  Human security in Sudan has a unique characteristics.  There is a relation between the human security characteristics and threats with community development in Sudan.  Absence of a general, complete and exact policy that take care of human security aspects which always make the Sudanese under uncountable threats.  There is a failure in the periodical reports that concerning
