Abstract:
The Internet is an important means of learning task that helps to attract the
attention of the student and the interaction with the material, and also
develop language abilities (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
The aim of this study, which is entitled "Using Internet in teaching
French as a foreign language", is to inform teachers how to use the
Internet in the classroom, it also aims to inform teachers how to use the
activities of educational sites in the teaching of French and how to create
a desire to learn for the learners, and how to develop Internet skills:
language, understanding and expression of oral and written, and how it
contributes to the development of interaction between students. The
teacher should know the rules of Internet use in the classroom and how
to analyze the educational sites before they are used in the classroom and
how to exploit them.
As we used in this study to understand the activities and expression of
linguistic and other activities with the rules and other Audio and literary
texts, and how to use songs and games activities in the development of
language. There are also useful educational activities; such as research,
reading, speech and hearing activities, and all these activities are aimed at
the development of language skills and cultural knowledge and social
development. It also introduced the Internet to the outside world chapter.
We used educational sites responsible for the development of
understanding and other sites for the development of expression as the
sites of www.bonjourdeFrance.com , www.lepointdufle.net ... etc.
The Internet can be used in a way that self-education (distance education)
or in a manner directed by teachers in the classroom. As we stated in the
rules of this research using the Internet in the classroom.
This research has been divided into two parts and every part contains two
chapters on the first part concerned with the initial problem is how to use
the Internet in the classroom, we have offered in the first chapter the
importance and benefits of using the Internet, as we mentioned its
problems and disadvantages. And included as Chapter II of which is the
definition of the Internet and teaching and highlighted on distance
education .
Part II cared for the second problem of how to use educational sites in the
teaching of French language, in the first chapter from our site to develop
understanding www.bonjourdeFrance.com as our analysis of the activities
at the site. In the second chapter our site for the development of
expression www.lepointdufle.net. It also offered some of the other sites.
The study is a model for the use of educational sites in the teaching of
languages, as we have taken title of the study as a major goal of this
research, and we hope to expand this study to include many other
educational sites and the definition of the positive role of Internet use in
education.
We hope to use the Internet in the classroom is not only in the
universities, but also in high schools, even contributing to the Internet in
the delivery of material in an easy and stimulates the student to
understand the lesson. And we hope that this study to be useful for
teachers and learners and we hope to be the starting point for further
research so that a more expansive educational interest is achieved.
