Abstract:
This study attempts to investigate and evaluate SPINE (5) contents with reference to writing skill in particular. The method used for collecting data, in this study, was two questionnaires; one for English teachers at the secondary level, and the other for second year students.
Chapter one is an introduction that states the problem of the study. It gives the research objectives, hypotheses and its significance. While chapter two to presents some of the literature review about writing skill in addition to some related previous studies. In chapter three the researcher describes the methods and tools which are used in the study. Chapter four gives data analysis for the study and tests its hypotheses. In chapter five there are the study results and recommendations.
Recommendations:
Depending on the study results, the researcher suggests the followings:
• Revising and emending the writing materials in SPINE5.
• Giving interesting materials of writing in SPINE5.
• Training of English teachers.
• Improving the physical features of SPINE5 by providing colored and clear pictures and drawings for more attraction and motivation.
