Abstract:
The responsibility in the social forestry management is for making proper arrangements on both technical and organizational aspects which rests with local villagers based on their objectives. The broad objective of this research is to assess socio-economic impacts of Eldoom social forestry to sustainable management for its achieve the environmental, economic and social benefits different challenges and problems Were found confronting sustainable activities. Two types of data were used in this study; data was collected through questionnaire. . The research concluded that all the agriculture activities in forest management were achieved by rent laborers'. The objective of establishing community forestry from the perception of the local people to solve some problems related to land uses.
Community forestry is managed by selected committee from association members which are responsible for supervision, monitoring, marketing products and use the revenue income to establish and develop the village and support some social activities, The research concluded that the ignore women and younger (youth) participation in forest management and good contact between Forest National Corporation and forest management members. Research conducted some recommendations such as improvement of existing infrastructure in the study area which will affect positively the community forest. .
