Abstract:
The tremendous progress in information and communication technologies has led to the presence of huge volumes of data and information distributed in many web pages which requires there searcher to browse large numbers of pages before reaching his goal. Therefore, several systems including Arabic ones have been established to summarize the content available on the Internet.
This research examines the Arabic text summarization systems compares and evaluates them. It is clear from the research that this field is still wide open to research leading to better Arabic summarization systems.
