Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the impact of implementing business processes reengineering as a tool for achieving competitive advantage in the foods factories. The study was followed by the descriptive analytical method. The study population was represented by COFTTEA Trading Company. A questionnaire was used as data collection tool to achieve the study objectives. Fifty questionnaires were distributed to employees in COFFTEA, all of the Respondentsresponded with percentage of (100%) The data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study showed that there was a relationship between senior management commitmentand achieving a competitive advantage. the study also showed that there was a relationship between empowering employees and achieving a competitive advantage. The study reflected that there was a relationship between preparing for changeand achieving a competitive advantage.
The study concluded that there was a relationship between implementing business process reengineering and achieving competitive advantage in COFFTEA company.
The study recommended more focusing on the concept of the business process reengineering, its methods and the benefits of its application in all industrial sectors.
