dc.description.abstract The study investigated and analyzed the vocabulary of English Language of the second language learners, the third class students. The researcher used the descriptive tools and also used questionnaire and test, then analyzed by spss and has the findings below: Not all the students fail to recall vocabulary when they needed and most of teachers agreed that students use word in unsuitable situation, most of the students try to know the meaning of difficult words by themselves, returning to dictionary immediately demotivates the students, vocabulary must be chosen according to the needs of the students, it is difficult to select the suitable aids of teaching vocabulary, similarities of words disturb teaching vocabulary, SPINE course increase vocabulary, simplified books literature increases the vocabulary more than text book and addition to that most of the students are interested in using bilingual dictionary to check up the meaning of new words and finally most of the students have a appositive attitude to words reading. (There are no libraries in secondary schools. Recommendation and suggestions: According to the results of the study, the researcher will offer some recommendations for improvement, class libraries are very import. Each class must have a small library, with different short stories, newspapers and magazines. Pupils are encouraged to borrow books from class library, and experienced teachers are only having the rights of teaching English vocabulary. en_US
