Abstract:
The aim of this research aimed at depicting how women were portrayed in F.scott Fitzgerald's in three novels, This side of paradise, The Great by, and Tender is the Night. The women characters divided were into three main groups based on age and marital status. First deals with the Author and his times, that he lives in it and the general role of women in USA in term of twenty century, the young girls were discussed with concentrate image of the flapper of the twenties. Appearing roaring girls and dancing in a big party and company men without marriage seeking behind wealth and Mansions, Consequence that to dismantle family. Here the researcher wanted explain the problems encountered by women all, and arrived at some reasons that led to conflicts between man and women. The third group discussed the married women. Then gives a complete analysis of the three major women's characters in Fitzgerald novels.
