Abstract:
The lack of using language laboratories has a negative effect on teaching and
learning English oral perception and production. This study aims at
determining the relationship between language laboratory and the ways of
teaching English oral perception and production. Two groups were selected
for investigation. Two instruments for data collection and statistical analysis
were used to gain results. These instruments are tests and questionnaires. The
reliability and validity of the tests were used to achieve consistent answers.
These findings proved the importance of enhancing EFL learners’ oral
perception and production through language laboratories facility and explained
the relationship between language laboratories and teaching English oral
perception and production. Also the study emphasized that pronunciation
difficulties can be solved by teaching listening skill through effective
