Abstract:
E-government has emerged as a radical concept in most of the developing and developed countries. It aims to improve the government operations, make them paperless, and provide better services to citizens and organizations. However, the implementation of e-Government systems in Somalia is still in its infancy and there is a need to introduce a model for the implementation of these systems as well as a model for the factors that affect the adoption of these systems by the citizens. This study highlights some of major issues faces the implementation of e-government systems in Somalia. The study proposes a model for the implementation of E-government system in Somalia. It also proposes a model for the factors that affect the adoption of e-government system in Somalia. This model was validated and the results showed the strong relation between all construct of the model.
