Implementing Quality of Services in Network Using VOIP

Abstract

This thesis is focused on the possibility of adding new service Voice over IP (VOIP) computer networks, used by the public institutions as basic services, without substantial addition. VOIP service was added by software (3CX phone system) program, in the selected computer network, and monitored the effects happened in its bandwidth by PRTG software monitoring program. Then using QOS quality of service) tools to give the voice traffic high priority to manage and pass, in routers. Using QOS in congestion cases will protect the voice from loss or interference, and maintained the rest of network applications.
