This study entitled Stimulation of Oral Interaction In Sudanese EFL Classes aims to explore the ways and effective means to stimulate oral interaction in EFL classes. This in addition to investigate difficulties that encounter students in oral production and to suggest solutions for them. In spite of its necessity for EFL students, oral interaction in EFL classes at university level is not given much attention, so this study seek to investigate the factors behind this problem. The researcher adopted a descriptive and analytical method of investigation. Data has been calculated through a number of statistical procedures. The research subjects of this study consist of the teachers and students of Gedarif University (case study). The researcher used a questionnaire, an observation and a test as tools to carry out this study. The results of this study are: • Students have difficulties in oral interaction. • The teachers at university level don’t have enough materials to perform their activities. • Students have positive attitudes towards speaking English language. Finally the researcher recommends the following: - Teachers have to provide students with an appropriate situation for producing oral communication in the target language such as lab for developing listening and speaking skills and all other equipments that facilitate the process of learning English as a foreign language properly. - Teachers have to exert efforts to develop EFL students abilities in oral interaction. They should try as possible as they could to be creative in supplying the students with oral activities that can involve them in interaction. - Numbers of students have to be reduced in the class in order that every student finds the opportunity to interact orally in English.en_US
