dc.description.abstractWe talked in this research about normal and oblique shock waves in Gas In Chapter oneWe explained the normal shock wave and governing equations, solution procedure for general equation of state, Rayleigh line and Hugoniot Curve calorically perfect ideal gas solutions, pressure ratio across normal shock, temperature ratio across normal shock and same problem, acoustic limit and non-ideal gas solution. Also in Chapter two we talked about oblique shock wave in the end of chapter I explained the graphical solution of the oblique shock wave and then in the end we found that it is impossible to find solution equation of oblique shock wave expect by graphically solutionen_US
