dc.description.abstractThe aim of this thesis is to design an accurate drilling machine by use Arduino microcontroller and geared stepper motors for mechanical movement and use laser techniques for drilling. This design connected to a personal computer by serial communication. For interfacing we installed integrated development environment program in personal computer and used to compose and send data to the Arduino board, and control the design by sending drill position data through serial monitor. The result shows that the design is able to make different accurate holes according to receiving drill position data, and the design has more advantages than traditional drilling machines.en_US
