dc.description.abstractAs a result of the anticipated shortage of traditional sources of energy and environmental problems caused by it, solar energy is considered the most important alternative energy, which is renewable and exploited, which is not subjected to economic considerations and just need huge machines to collect radiation or using concentrated solar collectors. The aim of the study is to compare the solar dish collector and parabolic solar collector and choosing the best to heat the furnace oil. In this study MATLAB program have been used to calculate the dimensions and efficiency of solar dish collector and parabolic solar collector for steam quantity of 2000Kg/hr. at 10bar pressure and temperature of 200Co for Nile cement factory in the city of rabak. The results obtained showed that the length of a solar parabolic collector of diameter 3m is 581.354m with efficiency of 66.67% and diameter of a solar dish collector is 41.762m with efficiently of 66.67% thus the best solar collector is the solar dish.en_US
