Abstract: This study aims to investigate “the problems of English Language speaking among the students of high secondary schools” in Khartoum state at three localities Khartoum Omdurman and Bahri. The researcher chose (30) teachers from different localities as a sample. The researcher uses a questionnaire for data collection, and he find that, the amount of vocabulary that students have strongly affects their speaking ability, also the lack of interaction between students and their teachers is considered as one of the major factors behind their speaking weakness and the syllabus plays an important role in improving speaking skill. The researcher recommends the teachers of high secondary school to help their students to use English in both out and inside the classroom motivate SPINE series or change it by other press to meet the need of students from vocabulary and take them more opportunity to speak.
