dc.description.abstractIn this work, control of elevator is accomplished using ATMEGA 16 (microcontroller), the control system is constructed to simulate as an actual lift in the real life which simulate by program via Bascom-AVR as programming language then Proteus was used to verify the code, and the microcontroller is used as the primary controller So the complexity of the system has been simplified which will result in reducing the cost. In the work was applied to a three-floors building in addition to the ground floor, it provides useful information to those who wish to carry out a lift control system. In the simulation the lift was placed in the ground floor and ordered to reach the first floor, the lift obeyed the instruction exactly. The lift was then ordered from the ground floor and the 2nd floor at the same time, it resumed its motion to the 2nd floor as excepted.en_US
