The research has been consisted of five main chapters including: chapter one for introduction which centered on methodological framework of the research, chapter two for basic concepts, chapter three for contribution of Khartoum stock exchange to contemporary economic development of the Sudan (1995 – 2005), chapter four for statistical analysis and testing of hypotheses and chapter five for conclusion and recommendations of research. As such the researcher has discussed the research problem through conducting a wide range of primary and secondary sources of information to enrich analysis and to verify research hypotheses. The researcher, has left the door opened for coming generation of researchers who involved in stock exchange activities to proceed researches on other dimensions of phenomenon under study which are not covered by this study to enrich knowledge and to add valuable contribution to Sudanese libraries which lacked similar contemporary studies and researches on financial economics as a recent discipline in the Sudan.
