Abstract:
The Present study was designed to evaluate the effect of different dietary Pumpkin seed meal levels on water quality ,growth performance ,feedUtilization and proximate composition of o.niloticus .TheStudy was performed in 12 experimental treatments plastic aquarium atdensity of 20 fish in groups aeration was provided by an air pump for each pond .The experimental nitrogenous (control 23.03% , T1 16.89%T2 20.04% , T3 16.19%). Diet were formulated the control diet had No pumpkin seed meal dite 1-3 were formulated to be T1(10%),T2 (20%)T3(40%) pumpkin seed meal. Fish was feed at level of 9% of body weight 3 time day at (9,13and 17 o clock )for 11 week .Data were statistically analyzed using ANOVA one-way analysis of variance comparisons among means were made by (LSD)when significant F-values were observed (p<0.05),using SPSS version(21).Results obtained are summarized in the following :tilapia fed with diets contain 10% pumpkin seed meal had significant lower(P<0.05) final weight Tilapia fed with diet contains 40% pumpkin seed meal had the highest final weight .The values of feed conversion ratio (FCR) showed significant Difference (P>0.05) between the dietary treatment fed to the fish.
