Abstract: In this study a comparative analysis of seismic behavior of Multi-storey Composite and Conventional RCC Frame Structures at various heights has been carried out. Two models of ten storey high rise framed building structures were analyzed using ETABS Finite Element Program. The results obtained were, then, analyzed using Excel Spread sheet. The main variables considered for comparison were natural time period, coefficient of response acceleration, base shear, and the maximum displacement. According to these variables the comparison showed that the Composite steel structures are more resisted in seismic behavior compared to the Reinforced concrete structures. Hence, it is recommended to use the composite steel structures in high seismic load zones.
