The power industries, especially thermal power plants, have large energy consumptions, which play an important role in energy conversion. In this study, the energy and economic analysis of Khartoum North power plant is presented. The primary Objectives of this research are to analyze the system components separately and to identify and quantify the energy. In addition, the effect of operation condition change will be presented. The study founded that increasing the mass flow rate of steam entering the boiler from 8.67kg/s to 10kg/s will increase the efficiency about 7.26% and increase power about 1.7MW and will effect in the fuel flow rate and increase the cost of fuel about 9$/hr. Since the efficiency of the plant is fundamentally limited by the ratio of the temperatures of the steam at turbine input and output, efficiency improvements require use of higher temperature, and therefore higher pressure steam throughout the study find that increasing the temperature at the outlet of the boiler from 811k to 850k will increase the efficiency about 2.13% and the power out of the turbine will increase about 0.5MW also will rise the cost of fuel 8$/hr.en_US
