dc.description.abstract Many institutions managed to established institutional forest, namely, Elrahad irrigated scheme, Kenana for sugar company (K.S.C), Assalya and Sennar. Ever for these institutions after assement study were carried out to explain the socio-economic-aspects of those plantations. The broad objective of this study is to explore and highlight the role of forest plantations in local people employment and investigate the benefits and services which is gained from the project. Tow types of methods were to collect the necessary information, namely, primary and secondary data. The primary data was collected through, self interview, and self administered questionnaire with local people and administrators respectively, and secondary data was collected through records, field reports and related references. en_US
