Evaluation of Fetal Weight in diabetic pregnant women in the third trimester using ultra sound

Abstract

In this study (50) adiabatic pregnant in third trimester in different gestational age evaluated sonographically using Different ultrasound machines with probe 3.5 MHz in different centers and hospitals of obstetric in Khartoum state to correlate the fetal weight with different variable such as (numbers of babies, gender, gravida, type and status of diabetes. The study reveal that were the significant difference in weight between male and female babies the mean weight of male 2.41 and mean weight for female 2.87,and no different in weight between numbers of babies (single, twins). The mean weight of single fetuses is 2.7, The mean weight of twins fetuses is 2.7, Also there is no different in weight between type of dibates, The mean weight of type 1 is 2.7, The mean weight of type 2 is 2.7. Also we found that there is weak relationship between the gradiva and fetal weight. No different in fetal weight between status of diabetes, mean weight of control diabetes 2.75 and mean weight of non control 2.76. The final result was the fetal weight in adiabatic pregnant increase 0.14 per week.
