dc.description.abstract This study aimed at investigating the impact of EFL multimedia technology on tertiary level students’ motivation. The study focused on tertiary level students and EFL university teachers. The researcher has adopted the descriptive analytical method. It also used a questionnaire. The sample of the study composed of (50) teachers who teach at different Sudanese universities in Khartoum state and (50) students who were study at Ahfad university for Women. The data were subjected to statistical analysis using the ( SPSS) program. The data was presented in percentage form. Also the results of Chi-square were included. The study concluded that tertiary level teachers assured that multimedia facilitate EFL teaching and learning processes. Multimedia technologies assist EFL Sudanese teachers to plan, prepare and implement educational activities efficiently. English foreign language classes with multimedia boost students’ collaboration. The researcher recommended that teachers should be more cooperative and supportive when using multimedia in EFL classes to smooth the process and give students chance to be active and interactive. Multimedia should be included in English language curriculum, creating a lively classroom atmosphere and facilitating teaching and learning processes. The study recommended that teachers should use multimedia technology as a tool of learning to make students more creative, autonomous and collaborative than in classroom where technology is not accessible to student. en_US
