dc.description.abstract The present study aims at studying and scrutinizing the sustainable use of information and communication technologies for developing and assessing English for specific purposes syllabus for computer studies at Sudan University of Science and Technology. The aims of this paper are to look into the most distinctive benefits. This study aims to recall the term English for specific purposes and acquire new terminologies of English for specific purposes , It’s necessary to use this kind of computer studies and determine the meaning of new words. This study tries to answer the following questions. How can the gap between English for specific purposes and occupational purpose be bridged? The aim of the study is to investigate the importance of language needs for computer learners. In this paper of English for specific purposes there are some useful hints on how to promote students awareness with the aim of exploring and developing aspects of communicative awareness. We should be aware of the following points: The difficulties which face the English for specific purposes students during learning computer studies. The students’ response about English for specific purposes should agree with the following findings: Improving the ability to deal with English for specific purposes syllabus, and enable students to understand syllabus, and promoting students to expand their learning skill. The researcher recommends English for specific purposes courses that should be revised regularly, and increasing the teaching hours of English for specific purposes courses. en_US
