This is a descriptive cross sectional study. The problem of study Common
Pathological conditions of rotator cuff which was difficult to be diagnose and
determine its causes. In this study samples were selected by a sample random
sampling method. The sample size was set as 170 cases. The study was carried
out during the period from April 2018to July 2018. The study was conducted at
Khartoum state in the magnetic resonance departments of Antalya Medical
center, Sharg Alneel Hospital and Ribat university Hospital.
. In this study data were collected by using data collection sheet designed
especially for the study and direct MRI examination from the population of the
study. Data were analyzed by using statistical package social science (SPSS).
The study showed that the MRI is the method of choice in assessment of rotator
cuff. Rotator cuff injures affected with patient age and patient work it shows the
maximum effected age (35-54) that represent 34.1% and the minimum affected
age (75 or older) that represent 11.2%. The samples of occupational distribution
shows (80) other from sample represent 47.1% of the sample and (30) worker
from the sample represent 17.6%. The study said rotator cuff tear is most
common MRI finding represent 45.9% from the samples. Also athletic status
can be affected in estimation of joint space changes that represent.
In This study we recommended with available MRI machine in all diagnostic
medical hospitals, also uniform the used protocols in MRI department , provide
reference hospital by network links in case of MRI machines stops and quick
calls the patient about change, provide uniform price by range of each patient
budget, also MRI machine and it accessories such as flexible coil should be
available in radiology department lastly the weight scale must be available in
each MRI department centre to insure the patient in allowable machine weight. |
