dc.description.abstract |
This study was designed to investigate the major flavonoids of Lepidium sativum and Ammi visnaga . The flavonoids were extracted with ethanol and the crude extract was purified by thin layer chromatography where three pure flavonoids were isolated; two flavonoids from Lepidium sativum and one from Ammi visnaga . The structures of these flavonoids have been partially characterized by some spectral tools (UV and 1HNMR). The isolated flavonoids have been assigned the following partial
The fixed oil of Lepidium sativum was extracted and the antimicrobial potency of the oil was evaluated and significant antimicrobial responses were observed. |
