dc.description.abstract Teachers readiness in cooperative learning could be a vital variable that might affect the outcome of a given study examining the effects of cooperative learning on students writing skills , as 1 claimed in their studies. For this reason, the researcher attended a 40-hour workshop for 30 English teachers at Al-Khaleej National School before investigating the effects of cooperative learning on EFL learners language learning. The subjects of the study were 30 teachers responded to a questionnaire to investigate their attitudes towards teaching English Language and specially using cooperative learning methods to develop writing skills .The following article focuses on the teachers attitudes towards teaching writing skills through cooperative learning in the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classrooms. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommends to use the cooperative learning methods in the teaching of the other language skills (listening, speaking, reading ). en_US
