Study of Miscarriage causes In White Nile State Using Ultrasonography

Abstract

Primary health and maternal healthcare programs play a major role in decreasing complications of miscarriage and mortality rates among the pregnant women. In this study (100) pregnant woman with complications of miscarriage were Scanned with ultrasound ,the study was conducted at White Nile State in Rabk locality in medical insurance clinic and at Dr. AbdAlmaged private clinic of obstetrics and gynecology. The ultrasound machine was ECUBE5(4.5)MHZ curve linear probe and ALOKA(prosound2) (3.5)MHZ curve linear probe. In this study the mean patient’s age is (24) years and the mean gestational age is 8 weeks and most of miscarriage occur during the 8 weeks of pregnancy with percent about (45%), and (67%)of miscarriages occur in housewives occupations groups. Incomplete miscarriage is the most common (40%)and the most common cause of miscarriage is febrile diseases(47%), un explained(22%),trauma (14%)fibroid (11%),uterine defect(6%). The study concluded that most common type of miscarriage found at White Nile State in Rabk city is incomplete miscarriage
