dc.description.abstract The present study was undertaken to compare the chemical composition of the colostrums of cows, goat and she camel's species during the first three days after parturition. Camel colostrums was collected from camel research center University of Khartoum (Shambat), cows and goat colostrums collected from the department of animal production dairy farm college of agriculture studies, Sudan University of science and Technology (Shambat). The total of the samples was 45 samples from 15 animals (3 samples from each animal in 3 days ) .The parity order of the species was similar (one animal from each species in the2nd parity, one animal from each species in the 3rd parity, two animal from each species in the 4th parity and one animal from each species in the 5th parity). Fresh colostrum were analysed to test its chemical composition. The result showed significant differences between species in fat, lactose, SNF and acidity. Lactose and SNF were higher in camel colostrums than that found in goats and cows colostrums; while fat is highest in goat's colostrums and cow's colostrums have higher acidity .There were no significant differences between the colostrums of the three species in the rest of the colostrums components. Also the result showed high significant differences between the three days in all species of the experiment , the first day was the highest in protein ,fat , ash , TS,SNF and acidity ,while the third day was higher in moisture and pH, and there was no significant difference between the three days in lactose . The study showed no significant differences between parity order, within the different species. en_US
