Abstract:
This study aims at exploring the impact of using YouTube to enhance listening and speaking skills of EFL learners at Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST). The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and adopted the questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The most important findings showed that EFL learners use YouTube videos as means to develop listening and speaking skills, using videos inside the classroom motivates students to practice English orally and increases their participation during learning process. YouTube can make the EFL learners familiar with the culture of native speakers of English as a result it boosts understanding of the language. The researcher recommended that: Curriculum Designers should be aware of the involvement of You Tube Videos in the educational field. Language Laboratories should be equipped to enable EFL learners to practice their listening and speaking skills.
