dc.description.abstractIn this study phenolic compounds were extracted from Waltheria indiea using 95% ethanol. The crude extracts were subjected to paper chromatography using (7,3) methanol: water for irrigation. In this way compound (A) was isolated from Waltheria indicia. The IR spectrum gave the expected functional groups for compound (A) . Uv studies illustrated the hydroxylation pattern of the isolated phytochemicals.en_US
