dc.description.abstractThe project aims to extract Zingiber volatile oils using stream distillation technique and studies some of the physical properties such as Saponification value, Acid value, Peroxide value and Iodine value. And that was found to be as follow: 1- Saponification value (SV) = 90.1 mg/g 2- Acid value (AV) = 1.123 mg/g 3- Iodine value (IV) = 33.62 mg/g 4- Peroxide value (PV) = 0.00 meq/kgen_US
