dc.description.abstractThis research aims to create and develop a program to compress audio files in real time with high quality. The implementation of this program adopts method of redundancy remove by using MATLAB language. The research discussed various types of techniques used to compress audio files, adopted method (redundancy remove), flow chart of audio compression software and finally audio compression software. This method was chosen for its high accuracy in determining the coefficients of voice as well as its simple and effective computational operations. The results show success of coding and compressing audio files in real time with high quality.en_US
