Abstract: Modern Transmission devices provide many capabilities and features which significantly enhance engineers’ experience within the telecommunication environment. The ability to also remotely access and control those devices, and their services, increases their value and benefits for Telecom Companies. Internet connectivity, which is an important part of the today, could enable remote access from any place, at any time and using any device. However, many problems related to reachability and security on the Internet current architecture makes the deployment of such solutions complicated. If an unauthorized person gets access to a server network, it would mean that personal digital content, communications and the physical security of the server could be at risk. To overcoming these challenges we used the VPN (Virtual Private Network) program to connect between the main server which contains data base about the transmission devices and their clients which will connect remotely to it. A VPN is a computer network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure such as the Internet to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to their organization's network. Its aim is to avoid an expensive system of leased lines that can be used by only one organization. We have designed effective and reliable DCN (Data Communication Network) for transmission devices management in the server device. An analytical model is developed using the Packet Tracer Simulation which configured with CLI (command Line Interface) to distinguish the best routing protocol. We have validated the analytical model with the results, and from the results we show that OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) protocol is needed to manage and evaluate the DCN.
