dc.description.abstractThis study was carried ot in order to revise the x-ray and ultrasonic test results done on the welded joint of the multi product exporting pipeline. The welding practise was carried out as per API 1104 code. The study also calculated the pressure drop for the hydrostatic test done on the line, the pressure drop was found to be 0.2 bar which is less than the pressure drop due to temperature change, that amount to be 0.983 bar. The study concluded that the hydrostatic test result is successful and hence the weldments done as per API 1104 are reliable and that the pipeline could be commissined effeciently. The hydrostatic test results supported the results of the x-ray and ultrasonic tests carried ont on the weldments previously.en_US
