Wireless network is connecting between many nodes without wire line and using network protocols to do this. Network protocols in cellular wireless data network must update routes as a mobile host between cells. These routing updates and combined with some associated state changes are called handoffs. Most current handoff scheme in wireless network result in data loss or large variations in packet delivery times . in this research a scheme propose a scheme in which each mobile node is pre-assigned at temporary IP multicast address by its home agent. The home agent encapsulates packets destined for the mobile node and forwards them to its associated multicast group. While only one base station actively forwards packets to the mobile node, the other base stations that are identified as likely handoff targets are asked by the mobile node to join the multicast group. These potential handoff target base stations buffer the recent few packets and can quickly forward them to the mobile node should a handoff happen. This protocol implemented using IP Multicast and Mobile IP like routing. Also present simulation results for the simulation. The simulation show that handoffs typically take between 8 and 15 ms to complete and result in no data loss. MATLAB language used in the simulation programmable.en_US
