Abstract: In this research, the Radar Signal processing is enhanced by increasing the processor intelligence of an active target .The focal interest on range and velocity .Range was calculated from Delay Time, and Velocity is determined by Doppler Shift. Signal processing focus on kalman filter and its parameters such as noise Conversance , random noise estimation ,random aircraft Motion , Residual,…etc. The main aim is to reduce the residual error .The filter was modeled and simulated using MATLAB simulation Tool. Results indicate that the residual error reduced by good estimation of noise .The best results obtained when SNR=12.12.The residual is become inaccurate when aircraft random motion (noise) changed . Finally an algorithm was proposed to maintain minimum residual error.
