Data warehousing technology comprises a set of new concepts and tools which support the knowledge worker (executive, manager, and analyst) with information material for decision making. The fundamental reason for building a data warehouse is to improve the quality of information in the organization. The key issue is the provision of access to a company-wide view of data whenever it resides. Data coming from internal and external sources, existing in a variety of forms from traditional structural data to unstructured data like text files or multimedia is cleaned and integrated into a single repository. A data warehouse (DWH) is the consistent store of this data which is made available to end users in a way they can understand and use in a business context. Many organizations are committing considerable human, technical, and financial resources to building and using data warehouses. The primary purpose of these efforts is to provide easy access to specially prepared data that can be used with decision support applications, such as management reporting, queries, decision support systems, and executive information systems. In this thesis we will discuss the data warehousing analysis techniques and modeling tools which is used in building a data warehouse, and use the modeling tools to model the processes of loans system in BOS. 3en_US
