Abstract: | E-learning strategies have to address economical, educational and technological goals. For ensuring educational and technological quality, different theories and models for e-learning already exist. But there is a lack of theories and models ensuring economical quality. In terms of marketable and sustainable products and services This research investigates a customizable general framework for e-learning business models. The framework is suitable to complement existing e-learning theories and models which focus on the educational and technological dimensions of e-learning. The research also presents a business model for e-learning using this general framework. This model is targeting small educational institutions, such as primary and high schools in SUDAN. The model integrates and consolidates strategic plans concerning market model, activity model and asset model. Some factors that affect the business model are discussed. |
