Abstract: Education services are the key of development in rural communicates. In Sudan primary education is compulsory, it suffers from many problems like other developed countries these problems are: inadequate budgets, lack of schools and teaching staff, low income of family, high illiteracy rates…..etc. Optimum use of existing resources is the key of solution of the above problems. In this study many criteria had been designed to study the location and capacity of schools, teacher’s number and population at one region. Beneficiaries from high potential for geographic information systems. Geographic information systems (GIS) had been used to develop criteria model to support decision making. The study depend on the descriptive analytical method for analysis of data collected, The study had shown the distribution of schools is improper to serve the population and bad distribution of teachers, although number of teacher exceeds from the required number.
