Abstract: The aim of this research is the application of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology in the Renovation Residential City the Rossiers Dam to explore the advantages of using Earned Value Management in tracking and monitoring projects performance. The case study of an ongoing project was analyzed using Earned Value Management; the results of Earned Value Management were subsequently used to analyze the management performance in the case study project. The results show that project experienced delays from its onset. Earned Value Management shows that a schedule delay of schedule is 24% was experienced in the first month. Further more the variance of percent schedule variance continued to increase for the months of (2nd month is -50.20 %, 3rd month is -70.86 % and 4th month is -73.68%). Earned Value Management (EVM) provided a realistic picture of the project progress and was able to provide a measure of the delays encountered by the project of the case study.
