This studay was conducted on Sidir Plant,s leaves , this Plant grows wildly in Sudan and in many countries in the world. Sidir belongs to the family Ramancea. Latin name “Ziziphus spina- christi” and it called locally (Nabag). This Plant as reported in many sources it is used in to folk medicine in addition to other uses and benefits. The objectives of this study is to extract some of the components of this plant. The study comprises extraction, preparation and identification of these components of Sidir from Leaves. Chromatograghy (Thin Layer , Column) results showed that the ethylacetate extraction is composed of many compounds. These components were isolated, each has Yellow colour in day light. UV , IR and melting points indicated that the three compounds letanively idenfiecal as lavonoids compounds, which my be biologically active compounds. when it were used in folk medicinesen_US
