| Abstract: | This study is concerned with the development of the existing Khartoum International Airport, for it,s extreme importance to Sudan. The research tacked the information and enumeration of airports , for air traffic areas (Runway, Taxiways, Apron) which are putted by the International Civil Aviation Organization ( ICAO) Hence inspections for the air Traffic areas (Runway, Taxiways, Apron) , in such a manner that they will be in conformity with the international standard required by (ICAO), and corrective action to solve problems and developing it. The research include structural evaluation texture depth tests, and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests after divided into sample units (pits) , Determination of pavement of airport layers strength lead to the perfect maintenance and also solve problems . Finally, the study arrived at a conclusion and recommendations of this project, which I hope right, enjoy some attention. |
