dc.description.abstractLoad frequency plays an important role in power plant and any variation in frequency may cause all the generators fall out of synchronization and generation get interrupted. In this project A PID controller is added to the area of load frequency control in isolated power system to test the system response with and without adding PID controller. The simulation results reflect the improvement in the dynamic response and better control performance can be obtained when using PID controller with the system.en_US
