dc.description.abstractAbstract This study was carried out at Azaheer Dairy Farm located at Al-Bagair district – Khartoum State. During the period extending from Jan to March 2006. The dairy herd is composed of pure Holstein Friesian cows managed through Zero grazing system . Eight locating cows at their four parity , were selected & assigned to Two groups with Four cows in each groups During the cows in group (1) had all four quarters functioning while group (2) cows with only three milk able quarters . Both groups were hand milked weekly milk samples from each cow , through out . The experimental period antibiotic treatment was abandoned The milk samples were analyzed for fat , protein & mineral content . The result revealed no significant differences between the two groups .en_US
